Week 14 DevLog_KU
Week 14's primary focus was on thoroughly playtesting the demo build of our game to check for any game-breaking glitches and or bugs, as well as get a feel for the enemy placements around the Well Clearing and Bog, and the overall size of the map. Playtesting the level also assisted in determining which areas required more lighting, so it wasn't too dark for the player to traverse through (and or be blindsided by the enemies), so I went in and added dim yet "fair" lighting to lessen the shadows.
In between the crucial testing, I wrapped up artwork for our project's "cover", and overall poster design. Creating it digitally on an IPad, utilizing the app, Procreate, I sketched out and designed the poster accordingly to capture the "essence" and "soul" of our project; when the base was completed, I worked with a Graphic Design contact to add finishing touches, and the title, through Photoshop to the design, to later be utilized for both the Showcase poster, and for Itch.Io. During this time, I also began speaking with the sound production team assigned to our project, providing them vital details for our games, and specified in-depth what sounds and music tracks were needed for our game--through Discord messaging, emails, and detailing them within shared Google Docs between myself and the team.
